Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance software components for our options pricing engine.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate financial models into code.
- Optimize database queries and API latency for real-time market data.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture discussions.
- Debug complex issues in a Linux-based production environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in software development, specifically with Python or C++.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Familiarity with financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives is a plus.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a part-time capacity.
