Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, Python, and React
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize database queries and API performance for financial transaction systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and conduct thorough code reviews
- Document technical specifications and contribute to engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust error handling
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and at least one backend language (Python/Java/Node.js)
- Experience with React, Redux, and modern frontend frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to commit to 20-30 hours/week during core business hours
