We are seeking a Part-Time Senior Cybersecurity Analyst with deep expertise in financial markets, specifically focusing on the security of Equity Options trading infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will bridge the gap between advanced cybersecurity protocols and complex financial systems, ensuring the integrity of our client's digital assets while maintaining compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Conduct 24/7 monitoring of Equity Options platforms to detect and neutralize sophisticated threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead forensic investigations into security breaches and develop rapid containment strategies for financial data.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all security measures align with NIST 800-53 standards and financial sector regulations.
- Access Control: Implement and manage Zero Trust architecture specifically tailored for high-volume trading environments.
- Security Architecture: Design robust encryption protocols to secure proprietary equity option data streams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Quantitative Trading team to identify potential security vulnerabilities in algorithmic execution.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Finance is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC GCFW certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years specifically within the financial services or equity options sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and experience with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies in finance.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical risks to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
