Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects using JIRA and other ticketing systems.
- Perform manual testing across various web and mobile applications, validating user stories against acceptance criteria.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure recent changes have not negatively impacted existing features.
- Collaborate effectively with developers and product managers to resolve issues and prioritize fixes.
- Assist in the creation of test data and environment setup for testing cycles.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including functional, UI/UX, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with SQL and API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while meeting deadlines.
