Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompts for GPT, Claude, and custom LLM models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI interaction requirements
- Analyze model outputs to identify improvement opportunities
- Document prompt engineering best practices and create reusable templates
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and prompting strategies
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations for performance optimization
- Train stakeholders on effective prompt formulation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years in prompt engineering or related AI role
- Expertise in NLP fundamentals and transformer architectures
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt optimization projects
- Experience with Python and API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Linguistics, or related field
