Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize AI prompts for diverse applications including chatbots, content generation, and data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align prompt strategies with business objectives and user needs
- Analyze prompt performance metrics and iterate based on effectiveness data
- Develop prompt libraries and documentation for consistent AI interactions
- Research emerging AI techniques and integrate best practices into prompt engineering workflows
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations to identify optimal phrasing and structure
- Train and support team members on prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI interaction design
- Strong understanding of transformer-based language models (GPT, BERT, etc.)
- Exceptional written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with prompt optimization frameworks like Chain-of-Thought or Few-Shot Learning
- Proficiency in Python and/or prompt engineering tools (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in remote/hybrid environments
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
