Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate inventory records
- Provide technical support to end-users via remote and onsite assistance
- Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth utilization
- Collaborate with IT team on network upgrades and expansion projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Valid Georgia driver's license for occasional client visits
