Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve technical tickets in a timely manner.
- Perform routine network audits to ensure security and optimal performance.
- Assist in the physical cabling and termination of network infrastructure.
- Document network configurations and changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team to support company-wide projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
