Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-users via remote and on-site assistance
- Document network changes, configurations, and security protocols in compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and security patches
- Ensure network security through vulnerability assessments and access control management
- Train staff on network best practices and proper equipment usage
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers and diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
