Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Document support tickets and maintain accurate incident records
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex problems
- Conduct routine system updates and security patches
- Support users with network connectivity and peripheral troubleshooting
- Participate in training sessions to expand technical knowledge
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in IT preferred
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in varied environments
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional off-site support)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to pursue within 6 months
- Flexible availability including weekends/evenings for on-call rotation
