Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance software components for equity options pricing and risk management systems.
- Analyze market data streams to identify arbitrage opportunities and optimize execution algorithms.
- Collaborate with the quantitative research team to translate mathematical models into production-ready code.
- Debug complex financial logic and ensure system stability during high-volume trading sessions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for financial software engineering.
- Implement and optimize data structures for efficient handling of large-scale time-series data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python with experience in financial domain applications.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees) and volatility surface analysis.
- Experience with low-latency systems and distributed computing architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a part-time role.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Hadoop) is a plus.
