Responsibilities
- Analyze complex equity options market data using SQL, Python, and specialized financial platforms
- Develop automated reporting systems to track volatility surfaces and option pricing models
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to identify arbitrage opportunities in listed derivatives
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting options trading and ensure compliance protocols
- Create visual dashboards for real-time market exposure and risk metrics
- Support back-testing of new trading strategies using historical options data
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain data integrity frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years analyzing equity options or derivatives data
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis tool (Python/R/Tableau)
- Deep understanding of option pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Familiarity with options Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta)
- Experience with financial APIs (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to spot data anomalies
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings
