Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure equity options trading platforms against sophisticated cyber attacks
- Implement and maintain encryption protocols for sensitive financial data
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on trading systems and third-party integrations
- Develop incident response plans specific to options market disruptions
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and FINRA cybersecurity requirements
- Collaborate with trading desks to identify emerging threats in real-time
- Document security protocols and conduct quarterly penetration testing
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with specialized focus on financial services or trading systems
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent financial security credential
- Expertise in network security, threat intelligence, and incident response
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanisms and market structures
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing frameworks
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, SEC Rule 17a-4)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
