Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently from relational databases and data warehouses.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Process Optimization: Document data processes and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of our data pipeline.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Boston, MA (if not working fully remote).
- Time Management: Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a self-directed, part-time environment.
