What You Will Do:
- Extract & Clean Data: Gather raw data from multiple sources and perform rigorous cleaning to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Visualize Insights: Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to tell the story behind the numbers.
- Perform Statistical Analysis: Use SQL and Python to conduct deep-dive analyses on market trends, customer behavior, and operational performance.
- Report Generation: Draft comprehensive reports for stakeholders, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
- Support Decision Making: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & ETL: Execute Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to maintain our data warehouses.
- Dashboard Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of existing dashboards and create new ones as needed.
- Trend Identification: Monitor data trends over time to predict future outcomes and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and engaging manner.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, analysis methodologies, and assumptions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a financial or consulting sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and advanced Excel skills.
- Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment.
