Join Nexus Analytics Group as a Part-Time Data Analyst and transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our growing client base in Indianapolis with flexible scheduling options (20-25 hours/week). This hybrid role combines remote collaboration with in-office collaboration at our downtown Indianapolis hub. You'll leverage cutting-edge tools to drive data-driven decisions and contribute to meaningful projects across healthcare, finance, and retail sectors.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify trends and business opportunities
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Develop automated data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Present findings through clear visualizations and narrative-driven presentations
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality assurance processes
- Support A/B testing initiatives and statistical analysis for marketing optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
