Responsibilities
- Analyze healthcare datasets (EMR, claims, clinical trial data) using SQL and Python to identify operational inefficiencies
- Create interactive Tableau dashboards for tracking patient outcomes and quality metrics
- Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate treatment efficacy and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare executive reports summarizing findings with clear visualizations and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven process improvements
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Health Informatics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or clinical reporting
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Tableau/Power BI
- Strong understanding of healthcare data models (FHIR, HL7) and compliance regulations (HIPAA)
- Experience with statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing) and A/B testing methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex findings for clinical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ healthcare analytics projects with measurable outcomes
