Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Database Management: Query databases using SQL to extract specific data sets required for ongoing projects.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and propose solutions to improve data quality and reporting speed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track their progress.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is required.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to think critically and solve complex problems using data-driven approaches.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a part-time capacity.
