Your Role
As a Part-Time Data Analyst, you will act as a bridge between raw data and strategic business planning. You will be responsible for maintaining our data integrity, creating insightful visualizations, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Monitor data trends and anomalies, providing actionable recommendations to optimize operational efficiency.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines and analytical methodologies.
- Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and non-technical manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
