Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security protocols to prevent data breaches and cyber attacks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Document security incidents and create comprehensive remediation reports
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees across departments
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
