Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for cloud/on-premise systems
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) tools to detect and respond to threats
- Develop and implement security protocols aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps and enhance defenses
- Document security incidents, forensic analysis, and compliance reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Assist in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection/analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation tools
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Must be authorized to work in the US with relocation flexibility
