Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing on trading APIs and derivative systems
- Implement NIST 800-53 controls for financial data protection
- Respond to and remediate security incidents affecting options trading
- Collaborate with compliance teams on SEC/FINRA cybersecurity reporting
- Develop threat models for equity options market manipulation attacks
- Document security procedures and create incident response playbooks
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with financial systems
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Hands-on experience with options trading platforms or derivative systems
- Expertise in threat detection for financial data breaches
- Knowledge of SEC regulations and FINRA cybersecurity requirements
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for security automation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
