Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading systems against cyber threats using SIEM tools and behavioral analytics
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on derivatives trading platforms
- Implement and maintain access controls for options trading databases and APIs
- Investigate security incidents involving options trading data or trading algorithms
- Ensure compliance with FINRA Rule 4511 and SEC cybersecurity frameworks
- Collaborate with trading teams to develop secure options trading workflows
- Document security protocols and provide training to trading operations staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with specific experience in financial systems or trading platforms
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial sector specialization
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanics and market data protocols
- Expertise in securing REST APIs and high-frequency trading systems
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, SEC Regulation S-P)
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for security automation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
