Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Document security procedures and create executive-level reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current on emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in network security, threat intelligence, and incident response
- Proficiency with security tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex risks
- Flexible availability for on-call rotation (1 week/month)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
