Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop incident response plans and execute breach mitigation protocols
- Implement zero-trust architecture solutions for hybrid environments
- Generate executive security reports with actionable risk mitigation insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats (ransomware, APTs, cloud vulnerabilities)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and CIS controls implementation
- Proficiency in network security tools (FireEye, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences
- Valid US driver's license for occasional client site visits
