Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools and SOC platforms in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure timely patching of systems.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and intrusion detection.
- Assist in the implementation of security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to harden application security and network defenses.
- Provide security training and awareness support to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Current CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
