Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps in our systems.
- Monitor security alerts and threat intelligence feeds to detect and mitigate potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions to ensure robust network protection.
- Perform incident response and forensic analysis for security breaches, documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff members to reduce human error and phishing risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network defense and incident response.
- Valid CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GCIH certification is strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in using security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), SIEM, and vulnerability scanners (Nessus, OpenVAS).
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
