Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Enforce company security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Perform log analysis and threat hunting to identify potential breaches.
- Document security findings and prepare detailed incident reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the IT team to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Current CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting.
