Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, malware, and phishing attempts.
- Enforce and update security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the deployment of security patches and software updates.
- Document security procedures and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network architecture and access controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or SOC environment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
