Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for security breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive audit reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM best practices
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel to Jacksonville quarterly
