Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within SIEM systems (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide support for penetration testing activities.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Assist in the development and testing of incident response plans.
- Ensure compliance with local and international data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Generate detailed security reports and risk assessments for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network security or information security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and secure network architecture.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote setting.
