Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents through SIEM tools and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud environments and network architecture.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and incident reports.
- Perform regular security audits and provide training to staff on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, or Nessus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid capacity.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
