Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement incident response procedures
- Document security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce access controls
- Perform forensic analysis on security incidents
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
