Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Incident response coordination including forensic investigation and containment
- Develop security documentation (playbooks, runbooks, incident reports)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK framework updates
- Participate in quarterly security audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
