Responsibilities
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Monitor SIEM tools for security incidents and initiate incident response protocols
- Perform security audits and compliance checks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze malware and provide forensic investigation reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize complex threats
- Excellent written communication for reporting and documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
