Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and investigate anomalous network activity
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and emerging threats using forensic tools
- Assist in compliance audits for NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS frameworks
- Provide security awareness training to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
