Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalies
- Develop and implement incident response protocols
- Perform risk analysis and compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate on threat intelligence and security awareness training
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance documentation
- Research emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
