In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our full-time team to monitor our digital infrastructure, identify potential threats, and ensure our clients' data remains uncompromised. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and logs from SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities for internal and external networks.
- Manage and maintain endpoint protection solutions, including antivirus, EDR, and firewall configurations.
- Assist in the implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and perform periodic access reviews.
- Document security incidents and create detailed reports for management and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure software patches and security updates are applied efficiently.
- Support compliance efforts regarding SOC2, HIPAA, and local data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT support.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, Network+, or CISSP preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
