Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and networks for intrusions, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify potential threats
- Investigate security incidents and implement remediation procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
