Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activity and potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and recommend remediation actions
- Generate comprehensive cybersecurity reports for executive stakeholders
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, AlienVault)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
