Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and document security incidents with detailed forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Assist with compliance audits and security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
