Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms
- Investigate potential security incidents and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or related IT security role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
