Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications
- Document security incidents and create detailed forensic reports
- Implement firewall rules and intrusion detection system configurations
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and improve posture
- Stay current on emerging threats and cyber threats in financial services sector
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
