Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Assist in the incident response process, including log analysis, forensics, and reporting.
- Manage user access rights and enforce security policies to prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and software updates.
- Participate in security awareness training programs to educate staff on best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security or SOC operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or HIPAA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
