We are seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite team in Chula Vista, CA. Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for alerts and anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal systems.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts with IT teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Generate and maintain detailed security reports and documentation.
- Assist in the implementation of security patches and updates.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Familiarity with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
