We are looking for a vigilant professional to monitor security alerts, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards like NIST and HIPAA.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM platforms for suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Manage and apply security patches to operating systems and applications.
- Investigate security incidents and assist in incident response procedures.
- Enforce and document access control policies and user privileges.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Current CISSP, Security+, or CCNA Security certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Strong knowledge of malware analysis and threat intelligence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours/week).
