Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation activities
- Implement and manage firewall configurations and intrusion detection systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS security protocols
- Create security awareness training materials for client stakeholders
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Snort, Wireshark, Nessus)
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
