Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and recommend remediation
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence sources
- Assist with compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with incident response procedures
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
