Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, playbooks, and audit reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and remediate vulnerabilities
- Analyze malware, phishing attempts, and anomalous activities using forensic tools
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS regulatory frameworks
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (CEH/GCIH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with forensic analysis tools (EnCase, FTK) and malware analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats under pressure
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass background check
