Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and networks for vulnerabilities, intrusions, and suspicious activities
- Investigate security incidents, analyze logs, and document findings for remediation
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on organizational systems
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO)
- Generate security reports and executive dashboards for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security, threat intelligence, and incident response protocols
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and common attack vectors
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
